Fuzzrocious Rat King Demo

Since I was talking about Fuzzrocious (both Rat King and Rat Tail) on the Jimmy Smith – Foals Pedal Board post, I thought I would focus on the Rat King today. Not too long ago, I did a combination give away with Bass EFX where we gave away a Fuzzrocious Rat King away to a lucky reader, but wanted to go in a bit more detail.

The Rat King  is a modified ProCo Rat circuit. The Rat King consists of 2 Rat Tails with a momentary feedback loop. You can jump between two levels of distortion (high and low gain for example). The feedback loop is adjustable (or optionally latching). There blend pots for blending between various clipping diodes (LED/silicon) or you can bypass the diodes.

I’m definitely starting to see these pedals around more and more… and is something to look at if you’re looking to pick up an interesting dirt box.
