Compact pedals are definitely gaining popularity. I’ve built a few pedals, and I have to say, the compacts are a pain, so I have major respect for those guys that make them. Especially when you get into more effected related compacts (vs. bypass loopers, tap tempos, etc). Today, I wanted to talk about the Mooer Solo Distortion. In this compact unit, we have level, tone and gain pots, as well as a 3-way toggle to control the ‘type’ of distortion (Natural, Tight or Classic). Mooer definitely stuffed this guy.
Here is their official video for the Mooer Solo Distortion:
If you’re looking for a compact distortion pedal, this might be the one for you. The Mooer Solo Distortion micro-pedal is currently available for only $88.00 and ships with FREE shipping from Amazon.com

Nice sounding pedal. I’ve been very interested in Mooer Pedals for about a year now, not really interested in any distortion pedals at this time, but; I’m deeply interested in the Mooer Audio Acoustikar Acoutic Simulator Pedal. Have a specific sound/tone I would love to create with it (jazz related). Hopefully if possible, you will do a review on this pedal in the near future.
