Today’s pedal line is from Chamberlain Foreman. If you have a pedal line (doesn’t have to be in a board) for your rig, please email me a photo, bio, description of pedals and routing to pedalline@nulleffectsbay.com. Every Friday I’ll showcase a pedal line submission. Make sure you include any links to your band or music page.
My name is Chamberlain Foreman and I’ve been following Effects Bay for about a year. I came here for a giveaway, but I stayed for the reviews and demos. I’m playing country with the Matt Enik Band this summer, but I’m not a country guy.
My weapon of choice is my Strat Parts-caster, made from a refinished Squier Affinity body, a 2005 MIM neck, and American Standard pickups. I occasionally use my Peavey Predator with a Kahler and a Seymour Duncan George Lynch bridge pickup when I want to rock hard.
My board is very small, but due to a huge coincidence it all fits on there perfectly. My chain goes as follows:
Digitech Bass Squeeze Compressor (Actually works really well on guitar.)
Electro Harmonix Little Big Muff
Visual Sound Jekyll and Hyde V1
Egnater Tweaker 40
Electro Harmonix Linear Power Booster
TC Electronic Nova Repeater (Really awesome pedal. I play in two praisebands at my church, so I need to have a delay similar to The Edge’s that isn’t hard to use on the fly.)
I use a Snark SN-1 clip-on tuner. When I want to mute the guitar I just use the volume knob, since it’s so easily accessible on a Strat.
I power it all with a 1 Spot and use cables that I make. When I have my choice I always use Switchcraft plugs.
