Macdaddy Music

One of the coolest thing for me about this blog is having the opportunity to meet some cool people. People ranging from musicians to builders (ranging from amps to guitars to pedals) and dealers.  We all have a common goal and that is to get great gear in the hands of musicians. Being a musician myself I definitely have a great perspective of wanting to know about new innovations in the industry or possibly a new source for picking up gear at a great price.

I recently met Aaron Peterson of Macdaddy Music and I was really impressed with him.. and his site. Macdaddy Music specialize in guitar effects and pickups. Virtually everything ships for free in the USA. One thing that I felt that stood out were his product videos. I visited their Facebook page and checked out a few videos, which were great. In particular I watched a ebow demonstration and it was incredibly thorough.

Talking with Aaron he mentioned that he really strives to give great post-sales service. We’re talking about troubleshooting, compatibility issues, returns, etc. I think that is a really important phase of the sale since the encourages trust and develops a relationship with the dealer. I like that!
