Once again, I’m shopping for a delay pedal. I’m thinking I want something cheap, easy and versatile to mess with some ideas I have currently. Maybe upgrading to my ‘dream’ delay if this is a direction I want to pursue (like a T-Rex Replica or Empress, etc). But for now, I want something simple, quick and easy.
The one thing that is fun with Pedal Line Fridays, is to see what others are using. Every guitarist is always eyeballing the other dude’s rig to see what they have going on… and Pedal Line Friday a good way to get your weekly fix. I bring that up, because three pedals seem to come up often when we talk delays. There is often a MXR M-169 Carbon Copy, Boss DD-3/DD-6/DD-7 or some type of Memory Man (Memory Boy, Toy, Deluxe, Hazarai, etc).
