Juan Alderete – DELTRON 3030 – Pedalboard

Juan Alderete of the super awesome Pedals & Effects website, recently was on the road with DELTRON 3030. He played in my home town of Missoula, Montana. Smoke from surrounding forest fires were at an all time high, so I was bummed they had to deal with that, but that’s how it goes.

On Juan’s instagram, he posted a shot of his board at the venue (The Wilma Theater), so I wanted to attempt to break it down. I was able to identify all the pedals on there, except one. If you can help fill in the blank – or Juan, if you’re reading, let me know! The pedal in question is the yellow micro-pedal at the end of the board.

UPDATE – Pedal has been identified. Thanks everyone!!

This gives me some ideas for my bass gig pedal board….there’s so many pedals and pedal makers out there that I can’t keep up and did not know that 3 or 4 of these even existed. Very Cool!

A few questions Mr. Alderete, if you don’t mind. I’ll include my rig for a reference comparison.

What kind of amp and cab set-up are you running? I run a GK 500 watt Class D head into a GK 2×10″ w/L-Pad attenuatable tweeter and an HDHMS 1×18″ (HDHMS is Home Depot Home Made Special lol…made in my shop from leftovers from other projects).

Are you running this into the amp’s front end or do you run this through the Fx loop? I run my bass pedal board through the Fx loop post Eq

Do you biamp? I have a splitter/Graphic Eq pedal that I Madeleine two existing pedals that allows me to send a second signal (with the lows pulled down -12db) to a Fender M80 solid state combo,if so desired.
