Pedal Line Friday – 8/11 – Kevin Swedlow

Today’s Pedal Line Friday submission is from Kevin Swedlow. If you have a pedal line (doesn’t have to be in a board) for your rig, please email me a photo, bio, description of pedals and routing to pedalline@nulleffectsbay.com. Every Friday I’ll showcase a pedal line submission. Make sure you include any links to your band or music page.

Pedal Line Friday - 8/11 - Kevin Swedlow

Signal chain is DOD 250 Overdrive reissue into Sonic Research St-300 Turbo Tuner into Eventide H9 Max controlled via midi with Disaster Area DMC-2. Power from Truetone 1-Spot into TheGigRig Distributor with TheGigRig EvenFlo powering the H9.

Even though the H9 has on board tune, I use Turbo Tuner for better accuracy (with Peterson’s “Sweetened” offsets programmed) and to allow me to mute while delay and reverbs can trail naturally.

There is a way to dialinanythingI need for Outlaw/Texas Country or modern Praise and Worship.

I use an Ernie Ball Music Man Valentine and a Fender Chris Shiflett Telecaster into a Vox AC15c1. Lava Super coil and Magma cables, Gravity Picks. Couch Guitar Straps.
