Today’s Pedal Line Friday submission is from Carlos Tavares. If you have a pedal line (doesn’t have to be in a board) for your rig, please email me a photo, bio, description of pedals and routing to pedalline@nulleffectsbay.com. Every Friday I’ll showcase a pedal line submission. Make sure you include any links to your band or music page.
Hi
Here’s my submission; hope you like it 🙂
From bottom right and going clockwise:
Guitar output to tc electronic polytune mini >> Digitech Jam Man (loop recording) >> DOD Overdrive PREAMP 250 (used for transparent boosting leads) >> EHX Soul Food overdrive (for main rhythm & lead) >> into looper pedal (unmarked silver) >> to front of amp (Ampeg GVT12-112 single channel valve combo). Most of the time it’s just this. The Boss Super Chorus CH-1 and the Excalibur Analog Device delay are in the amp’s effects loop. The (silver) pedal looper activates a series of pedals that are out of the signal path for clean and crunchy rhythm; these are: Boss Harmonist HR-2 >> EHX Memory Boy for vibe (sweeping controlled by Roland expression pedal EV-5 on the far right) >>AROMA AAS-3 AC Stage Acoustic Guitar Simulator >> Guyatone Phase Shifter (vintage, from Japan, like it a lot!!) >> Boo Instruments Tremolo. Guitars: Fender Stratocaster, Fender Thinline 72′ Telecaster
Cheers,
Carlos Tavares
