Pedal Line Friday – 9/25 – Justin Blakeman

This is my submission for your Pedal-Line Friday

Ok so my board is easy to use but the routing can be slightly complicated. Directly the signal path goes Dunlop volume pedal– Morley Mark Tremonti Wah– Boss NS-2– T.C. Electronic Ditto Looper– Boss DD-7 Digital Delay. I use the Boss NS-2 as an effects loop for the main effect. So from the NS-2 it sends to the Marshall Jackhammer JH-1– Boss BF-3 Flanger– vintage Ibanez Stereo Chorus SC-10– back to return on the NS-2.  I used to use a Boss MT-2 but switch to the Marshall Jackhammer because it is a much easier and better sounding pedal for amazing overdrive. The Jackhammer is my main dirty effect when I’m running stereo amps or when I’m not using my Marshall VS100 half stack or T.C. Electronic BG250-112 bass amp. In which I would use the footswitch for the built in overdrive in either amp. The Mark Tremonti Wah is replacing a vintage Dunlop Original Cry Baby because its optical feature is way more convenient and I like the frequency range better. For when I want to use true stereo i connect the stereo out from the BF-3 to the stereo in of the DD-7. This way I can get stereo Flange and not have a pin bouncing delay effect from my two amps when using the DD-7. I also use the custom built Altoids pedal for tap tempo for the DD-7. The Boss TU-2 is out from the volume pedal. The Ditto looper is mainly for practicing leads and scales.     My board is designed for simple effect use for hard rock as well as church worship music. I use this board for regular electric guitar or bass guitar.
