I love these posts. The follow up ‘winner’ posts of recent give aways. This is for the Mission Engineering Delta III Distortion, which was a fantastic give away.. and a fantastic pedal! Mission Engineering is known for their Volume Pedals (which I own one.. and love). It was interesting that they were getting into some other areas of effects – and the Delta III Distortion (Tri-Stage Distortion) was what came out.
When I initially played the Delta III, I was super impressed with the control and variety of distortion tones that could be pulled out of this box. Also, there was a sense of ‘smoothness’ related to how the distortion reacts/interacts. I’m not talking about the distortion texture. This reaction/interaction allowed me to control the sustain, feedback and intense characteristics with my amp and guitar. It was great to have this control.
Yesterday, Larry sent me a photo of his prize!
This is what Larry said about the pedal – “its by far the boutique(iest) and best pedal I ever played!!”. Looks like he’s digging it! Congrats Larry!
