I’ve been wanting to talk about this for a while.. and it’s been on my ‘to-do’ list for a bit. When I saw the Premier Guitar Rig Rundown showing Mastodon’s Brent Hinds Pedalboards along with Bill Kelliher and Troy Sanders, I was stoked!
I’ve talked about their pedalboards in the past, so I’m always excited for some fresh views. Just like with everyone’s pedalboard, they’re always changing and evolving based on the needs of the song / set, etc.

Over the years, Premier Guitar has been doing a great job on Rig Rundowns. These are definitely some of my favorite videos to watch on YouTube.. you definitely need to subscribe to Premier Guitar! I personally like seeing what the pros use.. and more importantly ‘how’ and ‘why’, since they can devote the time/energy.. you could learn from them. Also, I find it interesting that some (most) use the same stuff as all of us. Of course there are a few that go extreme-boutique/rare, but the majority are in need of pedals to get the job down, reliably.
