Recently at Electrical Guitar Company’s Instagram account, they posted a photo of Stephen O’Mally‘s pedalboard from the killer band Sunn O))). I wanted to post about it today, but I also need your help. There are a few unidentified pedals, so if you can help ID them, that would be amazing.
For those of you not familiar with Sunn O))), you should check them out. It’s a sonic experience. Here is a live performance from Sept 2019
Stephen O’Malley (SOMA) of Sunn O))) – Pedalboard
Proco The Rat (Vintage and Modified)
J. Rockett Archer
Ace Tone FM-3 Fuzz Master (This is what Earthquaker based their Sunn O))) Limited Edition Life Pedal on) – UPDATE. I’m incorrect here. I just quickly based it off the ‘look’ of the Life Pedal layout.
Earthquaker Devices (Life Pedal – prototype possibly or production model?)
Earthquaker Devices Black Ash Fuzz
Unknown 4 channel output splitter (top right)
Strobostomp HD Tuner
Aguilar Octamizer
Earthquaker Devices Swiss Things
Lehle Mono Volume Pedal
Travis Bean Designs Travis Bean Artist (TB1000A)
As you can see, I have some holes in that list, so if you have any idea, please post below in the comments and we can discuss! Thanks!

Volume pedal is a Lehle in mono, from the looks of it. Bottom right appears to be a big box Rat reissue. Refer to this link for the channel splitter – it’s much more than that as it allows him to switch the phase of the signal going to each amp – an important part of how Sunn O))) adapts their sound to the room.

Ah hell yeah! I feel like a bit less of an idiot because I’m not the only one using an Octamizer on a (mostly) guitar board

The silver pedal on the right above the modded Rat is J.Rockett Archer and the 3-knob pedal on the left is probably EQD Black Ash fuzz.

Are we also looking at their “setlist?” Just a chart with a bunch of notes. Interesting. Has anyone figured out which “song” that is, or is it the WHOLE setlist?
