Today’s Pedal Line Friday submission is from Kane Janowsky. If you have a pedal line (doesn’t have to be in a board) for your rig, please email me a photo, bio, description of pedals and routing to pedalline@nulleffectsbay.com. Every Friday I’ll showcase a pedal line submission. Make sure you include any links to your band or music page.
Pedal Line Friday – 6/29 – Kane Janowsky
Hi
Here are my boards and brief bio
My name is Kane Janowsky former lead guitarist from the upstate NY band The Kung Fu Grip. At one time a tone purist, the only pedals I would use were crybaby, and fuzz; how things have changed. I create improvised solo guitar ambient/noise soundscapes using pedals and various prepared guitar techniques. Samples of which can be found at:
I also do hip hop production under the name Jiveassassin which can be found at:
I got to say there are some wonderful pedals here however the real sleeper out of all of them is the Hermida Audio Unimos. This Alf’s jfet overdrive, somewhat warmer with an emphasis on the lower mids, and with more gain on tap than his Zen Drive. It might be described tonally as sitting somewhere between the Zen and the Dover Drive
