Circuit bending isn’t for everyone. But for those of you interested with experimenting with pedals and getting into soldering, it’s a fantastic way to learn and understand how signal flow works. Once you go down that rabbit hole, you will have tons of fun. Circuit bending typically involves noise makers (childrens’ toys) which can be found for super cheap or free. How many of you know families that have boxes of used and semi-broken toys in the basement. Each one of those could be potentially used for awesome.
If you want to see how far you can go with circuit bending, you MUST check out Simon the Magpie. He’s at the top of the game when it comes to bending guitar pedals. Some of his videos are crazy, and all of them are entertaining.
