Ayse Hassan – Savages – Pedalboard

Let me start off saying that Savages is one of my favorite bands. I’ve talked about them in the past on this site. I’m a big fan. So many great elements that contribute to why I dig this band, and one of those key elements that I love – is Ayse Hassan who lays down the low end. Her bass style is aggressive, intense, rumbling along with being incredibly melodic. It grabs you and never let’s you go. If you’re not familiar with Savages, give this a watch…

Along with Savages, Ayse also performs in the band – Kite Base. I really like that she taps into some great post-punk influences in both bands.
