Today’s Pedal Line Friday submission is from Baumarkt. If you have a pedal line (doesn’t have to be in a board) for your rig, please email me a photo, bio, description of pedals and routing to pedalline@nulleffectsbay.com. Every Friday I’ll showcase a pedal line submission. Make sure you include any links to your band or music page.
Pedal Line Friday – 12/15 – Baumarkt
Hello,
Here is my (or better said my guitarists boards, that i put together) pedal board to showcase:
First in line is a TC Electronics Polytune 1. Best tuner i and she have ever used but hardly anything else to say about that.
Then the signal goes into a Boss DS-1. The most standard distortion pedal out there but always my secret love.
Third in line is the Danelectro Fab Echo. For one song (called “Sewer Games”) we needed an odd and sort off “uncomfortable” reverb sound. No reverb pedal really nailed what we needed so we tried the Fab Echo and it did the trick.
Last but not least is the Boss RC-30 that Jenny (my guitarist) doesn’t even use herself but I do. For one song (called “Garten”) I play guitar and have to loop a simple blues chord progression so she can scream about how awful it is to have a garden.
The guitar and pedals run into a modded Vox Valvetronic (the first version they released) with a new and better tube in it and opened up back. The amp now sounds better than ever before. Of course I now have to say who “we” actually are. We are “Baumarkt” (means hardware store in German) and we’re an electro punk group from Chemnitz, Germany (the city where there is a giant head of Karl Marx).

best wishes,

i forgot to mention what kind of guitar that is: Jenny plays a Squire Mustang Bullet and an Epiphone SG. best wishes 😀 Jenny and Florian of Baumarkt
