I’ve talked about Russian Circles many times on this blog. I absolutely love this band. Musically, they’re amazing. They’re a great group of dudes. And absolutely love how they use pedals develop their amazing / intense soundscapes. A couple of months ago I had a chance to see them on tour with Eagles of Death Metal and Mastodon. The previous year, they were playing a smaller club in my town, but picked up a great opportunity to tour with these 2 bands. I can’t think of a better situation for them – exposure wise.
Their set was amazing. I wish there was more, but they had a tight slot with the other bands. Totally understandable. I was really excited to see how the crowd would react, and as expected, they were floored. You go on a journey with Russian Circles. So just hang on. Love it.
I was excited to see a fresh rig rundown with Premier Guitar. There were a couple of changes since my interview with Mike Sullivan earlier this year. So.. let’s get into it!
