A couple of days ago I posted about Midnight Amplification Devices having issues with Ryan Adams using a graphic/layout from Midnight’s Giant Sound pedal on their shirts for sale. You can read that original post here. No permission was granted and that obviously upset Midnight Amplification Devices. In turn, they tried to raise cash via a sale to pay for legal services.
Well, I’m pleased that things didn’t have to get ugly. Here is what MAD said in a recent Facebook post:
Thank you to everyone who has been supportive! The response has been overwhelming to say the least.
Ryan and co. have indirectly responded by pulling all the shirts down.
It’s a total shame that it had to go this way, but it is a resolution.
Subsequently, the sale has been removed… and replaced with a good ol’ Christmas Sale of 25% off. Enter ‘CHRISTMAS2016’ for 25% off everything in the store until Christmas.
