I recently got to see Russian Circles which was totally awesome. During that show, I ended up talking to a few people about SUMAC which also has Russian Circle’s bass player Brian Cook in the band. SUMAC is heavy and awesome. When I think of SUMAC, I think of EGC (Electrical Guitar Company) aluminum instruments and the low and heavy sound frequencies crushing your body. The band isn’t for everybody – nor should they be.
I recently stumbled across a great little gear channel by Gear Gods called RIGGED. And… I am now hooked. Definitely check out this channel. They recently just posted a video featuring the pedalboards of Aaron Turner and Brian Cook. I needed to check this out, and to spread the word. Check it out:
