Today’s Pedal Line Friday submission is from David Chatziliadis. If you have a pedal line (doesn’t have to be in a board) for your rig, please email me a photo, bio, description of pedals and routing to pedalline@nulleffectsbay.com. Every Friday I’ll showcase a pedal line submission. Make sure you include any links to your band or music page.
Pedal Line Friday – 9/9 – David Chatziliadis
Everything on the board is pretty self explanatory I think. The silver pedal on the far right is a SHO clone, and the green one is a really nice Diamond like optical compressor from a local guy around here.
My 2 latest additions have been the H9 which is ridiculous!!!!!!!! The boss es-5, which with the help of midi, has unlocked so many options for me controlling the H9 and time factor. The es-5 also allows me to reorder the signal of the pedals which makes life so much better for experimenting with a variety of tones. e.g. reverbs into bit crushers, delays and reverbs running parallel etc.
I’ve also wired the H9 to either be first in the chain (ideal for harmonizing effects and modulation) or last (ideal for reverb and delays) controlled on a preset basis with the pre-post option in the app.
Its a super versatile setup which allows to program presets for a variety of artists i play for.
