Today’s Pedal Line Friday submission is from Jaden Washington. If you have a pedal line (doesn’t have to be in a board) for your rig, please email me a photo, bio, description of pedals and routing to pedalline@nulleffectsbay.com. Every Friday I’ll showcase a pedal line submission. Make sure you include any links to your band or music page.
My signal chain is Tuner – forest green compressor – micro pog – vp jr – tube screamer – Timmy – timeline – flashback – flint. The timeline is very new to me, and I already love it. I love making presets for different songs in church ahead of time, and the banking isn’t too hard. Flint is new also, and love the reverb on it, debating a big sky because with the favorite switch, I have a nice spring reverb set on it, then the favorite activates a long deep reverb I use for swells. Really like the forest green compressor by mad professor. Great comp with adjustable volume control as needed, like the option to switch between sustain and compress as well. I generally run my bad cat clean-ish, then I’ll use my tube screamer for a nice volume boost with a little extra gain, and then the Timmy for the dirt needed. Use the flashback only for a modular setting right now. Love the sweep on the vp jr. and I’m having Roman shobel mod it to put the tuner inside it. I was running direct for a long time with a crappy board of only a few pedals about 2 months ago, so after a couple thousand dollars of ‘investment’ I’m very proud of my rig and especially how awesome my tone is now!! Next pedal I plan to get is the analogman King of tone to replace the tube screamer; really like the two stage boost kinda thing.
Any more needed info, please let me know!
