Get out of your rut with some pedal weirdness

Get out of your rut with some pedal weirdnessWe’ve all been there. The horrible rut with your pedals. You got a sweet set up, but feeling a little stifled with creativity. The issue is usually because you’ve developed the walls around your creativity with the quest for the tone, but lost site of the possibilities. You search and gather pedals for that particular project or sound. You dial it in, replacing pedals to get closer to that tone, until you reach that point of achieving your goals, you realize what next? This is a delicate balancing act. You still want to sound like “you” and you’ve defined *your* sound, but you want something different.

Usually, for me, I find inspiration from other players or bands and I get that itch to expand the horizons. But where do you want to go? You got the drives. You got the fuzz. You got the modulation. Where do you go? Well, for some of you, getting a little weird might be the way to go. Go extreme, and out of that extremeness, you might find some inspiration and a new direction. Check out this video titled – “The best crazy weird noise guitar effects pedals – top 25”. That definitely got my attention.
