This give away was a fun for me. I don’t think I ever gave away a pedal kit before. I personally love building kits. Super fun, and if you’re into electronics and want to learn more, this is where you first cut your teeth. Kits give you the opportunity to learn the basics of electronics – components, basic electrical principals, understanding how to work your tools, understanding how to problem solve, etc. If you go at it like tackling a puzzle, they’re super fun, and frankly.. super addicting. Some people like to just build kits, while others will branch off on repairs and modification, and others brave the mysterious waters of designing and building their own circuits. But almost always, it starts with these kits.
MOD Kits DIY is a great site to dip your toe into this world. The site has builds for the very beginner and the seasoned vets out there.
