Old Blood Noise Endeavors Reflector Chorus by BeardTone

“good at beards, OK at guitar” – BeardTone is becoming one of my favorite demo guys on the YouTubes. Why you might ask? Simple, there are so many types of demos out there, shredders, weird/odd, informative, and BeardTone has all of the above at times. Also, I like the honesty that feel from the demos too. I’ve been following him on Instagram and Twitter for a while, and recently picked up one of his fancy coffee cups (which you can pick one up too).

BeardTone Coffee Cup with My MugAlright, back to the important stuff.. the demo of the Old Blood Noise Endeavors Reflector Chorus. As you know, I’m a fan of Old Blood Noise Endeavors (OBNE) for a while. Love their style. Brady is always up to cool things, and when he started OBNE I was very interested and excited about the fugure of OBNE. This year’s summer 2015 NAMM show, they brought out the Reflector Chorus, which is a perfect pedal to introduce to their line of current pedals. Chorus pedals can be super boring. But come on.. we’re talking OBNE. They put some excitement and weirdness (like their other pedals) to a classic effect. Check out the demo below:

Here is the official product description for the Old Blood Noise Endeavors Reflector Chorus

Old Blood Noise Endeavors Reflector ChorusReflector is a densely lush chorus coupled with three modes of modulation. This is a chorus with a bent, an ephemeral voice floating between aural dimensions.

Controls include Rate and Depth for the Chorus/Flanger/Vibrato speed, Mix for a balance between unaffected and affected signal and Modulate to add Pitch selection, Chorus Voice selection or Flanger depth, depending on the mode.  A three-way toggle switch allows the player to choose between Wrinkle Mode (A Vibrato-esque warble chorus with the added option of pitch selection, meaning the Modulate knob goes from one octave down to one octave up, with noon being close to pitch unity), Myriad Mode (a simple lush chorus, Modulate control selects from 1 to 4 voices on the Chorus.) or Mirrors Mode (Detuned Chorus meets Flanger in which the Modulate knob controls the depth of the Flanger, while Rate corresponds to both the Flanger speed and the detuned Chorus speed).

You can purchase this for $199 directly from Old Blood Noise Endeavors. Let me know what you think by commenting below!
