I have a small confession to make this morning. I’m sort of addicted to podcasts. We don’t need to get into the nitty gritty of the podcasts I listen to, but there are a few. Sometimes while I work throughout the day… I hate to say this, I get sick of music, and fun or interesting podcast can help with that.
A little while back Johnny Balmer from Alchemy Audio (long time Effects Bay supporter and friend) let me know about an interview he did on Amps & Axes podcast. First off.. I wasn’t familiar with Amps & Axes, so that was cool to put something new on the list, and finally the podcast was quite entertaining. I could really relate with some of the topics discussed there.
Unfortunately, I can’t embed the podcast here, so please go here to check it out!
For those of you that aren’t familiar with Alchemy Audio, please check out the site. Johnny focuses on pedal repair and modifications, as well as other BYOC kits and custom builds. I was first introduced to Johnny with his great product – Dead Bat. The Dead Bat is a power sag potentiometer to be placed in between the power supply and pedal (or directly added to the circuit) to simulate a dying battery.
