I love Coffee and Riffs.. we know that, Coffee and Riffs – Part Forty Four, kind of blew my mind. Not in shred. Not in crazy. But in mood. I literally forgot what I was doing while watching this video, I was in another state of mind. When it ended, I wanted to more.
Part Forty Four featured Mason Stoops, and damn.. I love the way this guy plays. Great tone, great technique and great style. I wasn’t familiar with this player before, but I’ll definitely will be doing some searching on this guy. Check it out:
What originally caught my eye/ear were the selection of pedals he was using. It was interesting to see the Visual Volume (especially after Visual Sound announced that they’re changing their name to True Tone). Secondly, I love Spaceman. I own a couple of Spaceman pedals, but wasn’t familiar with the Spacerocket.. so you got my attention there.. and finally, the Strymon Flint. I own the BlueSky, and have been interested in the Flint for years. I know it’s awesome and wanted to see it in the mix. Either way, again, the combination of pedals that Coffee & Riffs selects is always interesting that inspires creativity.
Here is the breakdown of pedals used:
Oddfellow Effects Caveman V1
Spaceman Spacerocket
Visual Volume
Old Blood Noise Endeavors Procession
Arion Octave
Earthquaker Devices Rainbow Machine
Strymon Flint

I can’t watch this for a few weeks as I’m on holiday, but I look forward to it when I get back. My weekend morning ritual has been to have a coffee whilst watching Coffee & Riffs, I’ve been waiting impatiently for a new season!
