This morning on Facebook, I started to see some chatter about the Noisemaker Effects Loveless pedal. I recently started to listen again to My Bloody Valentine – Loveless after watching the Beautiful Noise documentary I posted about a few days ago. It’s an amazing album, and it’s been fun reacquainting myself with that great and iconic album! I thought it was cool that the Noisemaker Effects Loveless pedal tries to capture that classic shoegaze effect of fuzz smashing into reverb!
Controls for the Noisemaker Effects Loveless Pedal include Mix, Feedback, Wash, Level and Gain. Two footswitches – Shoe and Gaze. The Shoe side controls the reverb/delay with exteneded feedback and mix range, and the Gaze side manages the fuzz. The graphic is from the classic MBV album.
Currently, there is no YouTube video of this pedal, but they do have a SoundCloud:
Man.. I think they nailed it pretty close! What do you think?
If you’re interested, you can order one via Etsy or on Reverb. They’re costing $150 (not bad at all!) and estimated ship time is 3-4 weeks due to demand. For more information about Noisemaker, please check them out on the web, Facebook and Twitter!
