Today, I wanted to talk about the Neunaber Seraphim Mono Shimmer pedal. If you’re after that shimmer effect in reverb (similar to the Strymon BlueSky, etc), the Neunaber’s Seraphim is something to look closely to. Basically, with the Seraphim, you get the awesome Neunaber WET reverb with the (optional) shimmer effect.
Neunaber Seraphim Mono Shimmer allows you to control the shimmer with a long press off the footswitch (either turning it on or off). I like the control layout (big fan of simple) – Mix, Depth and Shim. The Neunaber Seraphim Mono Shimmer comes with a buffered bypass by default. This is important if you’re wanting the reverb to fade naturally after turning off the effect. If you’re in need of true bypass, you can select that option as well.
Check out this great demo by Sean Pierce Johnson for Neunaber Audio Effects
As you can hear, that shimmer sounds fantastic. I also appreciate the small footprint of this pedal. These days, it can get hard to manage pedalboard real estate with all of the great pedals out there!
If you’re looking to pick up a Neunaber Seraphim Mono Shimmer, you can pick it up for only $179 directly from Neunaber!
If you have this pedal or have played, it please let us know what you think about it by commenting below!

I really like this pedal, however I would pay the extra money to invest in the stereo version & run it through two separate amps. Great company making great pedals!

Adam talked about stereo pedal runs. I wish we(I) could clear up some stereo ?’s & issues. Some of it is simple enough-then- some doesn’t make sense. A bunch of my stereo pedals have 2 inputs/2 outputs-so-easy enough to chain them. Then-there’s the pedals w/2 stereo outs but only 1 input. I can see putting 1 of these @ the beginning of a run-but how do you put more than 1 in a chain???
