What happens when you take a couple of my favorite things and combine them? Well.. I was hoping for awesome.. and I got it. Two of my favorite YouTube channels to follow are Andy Othling and Coffee and Riffs. I’ve showcased several from each in the past. I was super excited to see Andy Othling *on* Coffee and Riffs the other day.. I had to check it out.
Andy Othling is a great musician that focus on solo ambient looping performances. His gear is great. His tone is great. And I love how he’s willing to share his technique and is so available for questions. Coffee & Riffs is Brady Smith of Old Blood Noise Endeavors. I love the concept of Coffee & Riffs. Basically, it’s not a ‘demo’. It’s not a ‘review’. It’s taking a couple of pedals and making a cool riff. I really think of it as an *idea* channel. Interesting to see combinations of pedals. Often he has guest musician’s perform. I think they’re all great!!
