I love solutions for annoying problems related to gear. Setting up, tearing down for shows or rehearsals takes a lot of time and energy. Anything to streamline that is massively helpful to musicians. If you don’t have to haul your gear around several times a week.. you are a lucky lucky person, but for us that do – finding way to optimize that process is essential.
This is where the Pedal Python comes in. The concept is super simple. Basically a flexible mesh ‘tube’ where you route cables through. You’ve seen these for computer desks, but the difference is that it’s durable and flexible. For a guy like me.. I run a Matchless HC30 and a Pedal Train pedal board. I have 2 lines going from my pedal board into 2 input channels on the head, and I have the PT’s power usually running back to the amp as well. So that’s 3 cables/cords running back to the amp side. Now, with the Pedal Python, this can be one ‘cable’ with the Python wrap. Unplug and and wrap up all the cables with one action and I’m ready to go! Also, have you ever lost a cable? Keeping track is a pain, keeping track of 1 cable vs. 3 cables is much easier.. another win for Pedal Python!
So.. this is a great idea, but I’m only giving away one. If you’re not the winner.. please give Pedal Python a close look if you’re looking to tighten up your gear!
Okay.. to the winner. The winner of the Pedal Python Give Away is Tom M. of Newport, Tennessee! Congrats Tom! Along with the 15′ Pedal Python kit, I’ll also be sending you some Option Knobs as well. For those of you not familiar with Option Knobs.. this is a great solution for tweaking pedal via the foot. If you’re a tweaker.. check out Option Knobs!
For those of you that did not win, I’ll be announcing a freaking awesome give away very soon. You will be stoked.. so keep your eyes out for that!!!
