Today’s pedal line is from Travis Jarrett. If you have a pedal line (doesn’t have to be in a board) for your rig, please email me a photo, bio, description of pedals and routing to pedalline@nulleffectsbay.com. Every Friday I’ll showcase a pedal line submission. Make sure you include any links to your band or music page.
This is my current pedalboard setup running into an Egnater Rebel 20. I have a habit of trading and swapping for new (to me) pedals, but these are ones that usually stay in the line no matter what. I own and operate a small recording studio in Asheville, NC and work as a session guitarist for other artist’s projects in my free time — feel free to connect with me at missionalmedia@nullgmail.com if you’re looking to get a project started, completed or just like to talk gear & shop. 🙂
On to the pedals:
Dunlop Crybaby
TC Electronic Polytune Mini – I love the accuracy and visibility of the Polytune, it is by far my favorite pedal tuner.
Rockbox Baby Blues – this is one of those pedals that just makes your tone sound “better” even when it’s off and it can go from brilliantly clean to downright mean depending on your selection of gains, boosts and compression.
Greenhouse Effects Goldrive – handbuilt by Roy at Greenhouse Effects in Israel and is a bit more TS in nature; it has a fantastic sound and is one of my favorite drives.
Greenhouse Effects Stonefish – a chorus pedal that becomes a vibrato at the flip of a selector switch. Very full but subtle sound with beautiful depth.
Catalinbread Semaphore Tap Tremolo – the options available on this pedal are phenomenal and the sound quality is second to none.
Cusack Tap-a-Delay – this pedal has a gritty, almost lo-fi quality that I absolutely love. It also has a JHS mod that moves an internal tone pot to a more usable position on the face of the pedal.
Greenhouse Effects Retro Sky – incredible analog delay with selectable phaser
Electro Harmonix Cathedral – handles all reverb duties (including “shimmer” effects) along with reverse ‘verb and a little old-school echo when needed.
Voodoo Lab Sparkle Drive – this one moves around at times depending on my drive needs, but right now it is last in the chain and acts as a clean boost when necessary.
