Best Reverb Pedal

Best Reverb PedalReverb is a funny thing. I remember a few years ago, I wouldn’t be caught dead with a reverb pedal in my line, now I have two on my board currently. Now you see and hear various levels of reverb on many guitarists boards. Because of that demand, there are a ton to pick from now-a-days. So what’s the best? What’s the most popular. If you’re interested in getting a reverb, this might be a good resource to pull from. So we need your help! Please vote what you think is the best reverb out there. If you see a pedal missing from the poll, let me know by commenting below. For now, I just pulled 30 units out there.

I know it’s a bit of a combo pedal, but I’d throw the Strymon Flint up there as well.

What about the Neunaber WET reverb? Certainly a very popular choice these days, and one of my personal favorites.

You omitted the Danelectro Spring King which is, according to my ears, one of the best.

    Fender Reverb Tank.

Doesn’t fit on a pedal board, but the switch for it does.

Nigel.. I don’t think the reverb tank would be the same as a pedal.. but damn, that thing does sound good.

I know it’s not a pedal but, my Fender ’65 Deluxe Reverb Reissue AMP has THE best sounding reverb I have ever heard. If you want great reverb in a GREAT amp. Go with the Fender ’65 DRRi

I am very happy with my Dr. Z Z-verb. I guess it is a bit large to be a pedal but it has a foot switch that is small…

Not a standard reverb pedal, but the Hardwire Supernatural ambient reverb by ProguitarShop is pretty sweet

My vote is for the BlueSky. Super lush, I love the shimmer, and the ‘favorite’ switch basically gives you 2 pedals in one.

You’ve listed TC. Hall of Fame, but I suggest his little brother, T.C. HOF mini, compact pedal with huge possibilities, due to technological inovation (Tone Print)

Marcelo.. I did think about that.. and excluded it, but I changed my mind with your comment. It’s in the list now. Thanks!

hEY hANK — Just got a Van Amps Reverb (Soul Mate) today.. 1 trick pony w/the spring tank -but- Can’t say enough about what it adds . I have a graphics background & like to use pedals as a layer in Photoshop — A subtle addition to get to a picture w/color highlights, detail, etc. I’m waiting on a EB volume pedal in the mail(passive & active) & an EHX Pog 2 next month when I get my SSI $’s. I’ll finally send you my finished project. It’s got a 4 board stereo set up- 2 amps w/ a board on each effect loop & 1 for each amp. Case Factory has 40″ boards for $ an inch delivered. Economy board but so worth it .. Thanks Again –JB (Still enjoying the TRex Replay I won)
