If you read EffectsBay… well, I think it’s established that you have some nerd tendencies. I would assume you’re wanting to manipulate sound/tone and resulting something creative. Right? For me, this is true.
I also have other nerdy interests from electronics to computers/programming, etc. When I see these melded together in a unique way, I’ll definitely take notice. The other day a friend of mine let me know about a Vimeo video that I might find interesting. I’m so glad he did, it’s pretty fantastic.
The video by James Houston shows Julain Corrier interacting with various pieces of old computing hardware, game consoles via MIDI. Back in the day… WAY back in the day, I used to program on the Commodore 64, some of these sounds bring back some fond, nerdy memories.
