I know today is not Friday, but due to the large queue of Pedal Line Friday, I thought I do a few on Wednesdays! Today’s pedal line is from Jordan Grunow. I use the one spot power supply through the Boss TU-2 then 9 volt out to a barrier strip that feeds all the other devices.
First in line is the Catalinbread Merlin Fuzz. I like the Fuzz to feel the guitar directly. This is a limited release one with voltage starve and feedback controls. I cannot say enough great things about it.
Then comes the TU-2
Next is the Xotic EP boost. I like it to push the signal through the line a bit hotter.
Next is the Z Vex Lo Fi Junky. This primarily is for Bass, it makes short scale basses sound massive. Very useful on lap steels as well.
Next is the Xotic AC boost. For ripping rock lead tones, it cannot be beat! Buy one!
Next, Dunlop Hendrix Fuzz Wah. I’m not crazy about the fuzz tone through any of my current amps. It is useful in overdub texture work, though.
Next, Dunlop Volume pedal.
Next, MXR Carbon Copy, a great analog delay. It is before the flange or trem because I don’t want those effects compromised by being delayed.
Next, MXR Flanger. Thick.
Finally, Boss Trem. A bit clinical sounding but the range of sine to square chop is useful.
All this is run through any of several amps and cabs, including a Sovtek Midget 50, Dr. Z Carman Ghia, 71 Fender Twin Reverb or one of several small vintage tube amps.

How would the delay compromise the flanger? Flange is an extremely short delay itself.
