Electro-Harmonix 8 Step Program Demo

Electro-Harmonix 8 Step Program Demo I want to first say… JJ Likes Guitar is starting to be one of my favorites for demos. I love the fact he takes the time to explain what’s the principal behind the effect itself. Especially for the pedal like the Electro-Harmonix 8 Step Program, it’s good to understand what this is all about. The 8 Step Program is a sequencer that can effect the expression input of pedals. It does not create a signal or effect the signal going through it, so you need a pedal with an expression input. Instead of sweeping a value with an expression pedal, the 8 Step will immediately hit preset expression values and repeat. You can smooth things out with the ‘glide’ option, but this is a pedal I’m interested in for some cool creative concepts with guitar.

JJ uses the Electro-Harmonix 8 Step program with a EHX Stereo Talking Machine and a EHX Ring Thing. The riffs are very interesting.

JJ also uses the 8 Step Program foot controller to show how you can save presets, etc.

If you’re interested in the Electro-Harmonix 8 Step Program, it’s currently available for only $123.38 at Amazon.com. The 8 step program foot controller is available for an additional $62.81

Please subscribe to JJ Likes Guitar.. awesome channel and follow him on Facebook!
