I pretty excited about this pedal. Everyone is pretty stoked on the Way Huge Aqua Puss these days. How can one make that delay a lot better? Simple. Just add ‘Supa’ in front of it, and give it some awesome features. Introducing the Way Huge Supa Puss Analog Delay.
The Way Huge Supa Puss was designed by Jeorge Tripps for some delay awesomeness. The unit has 6 bucket-brigade chips providing 900ms of analog delay time. Additionally, there is a tap tempo switch or use the delay knob for setting the time. There are some great subdivision controls that will subdivide the repeats. There is a ‘chase mode’ that set your repeats to cycle through each subdivision value for some craziness. Beyond just the delay controls, there is ‘tone’, ‘gain’, ‘speed’ and ‘depth’. Speed and depth controls are for the LFO modulation circuit for some wobble or faux tape flutter. Lastly there is a ‘mix’ control to blend in the delayed signal. The Supa Puss also has an expression jack to control the delay time.
