Small Sound Big Sound - Team Awesome! Fuzzmachine Give Away

GIVE AWAY IS CLOSED

UPDATE: I’m extending the deadline to 12/7!

Ok, Thanksgiving is over, and on to Black Friday madness. I just posted the winner of the previous give away for the VFE Custom Pedal, and I thought it would be good idea to launch a new give away today! Chad Beeler, from BassEFX, thought I might interested in giving away another bass related pedal. We worked with BassEFX a little while ago, giving away a Darkglass Electronics B3K, which was a great give away. So I was very interested in what Chad had to offer this time.

For this give away, Chad sent over a Small Sound Big Sound pedal called the Team Awesome! Fuzzmachine. Small Sound Big Sound is based out of Philadelphia, PA who are making some great pedals with a great sound, and a unique look. The Team Awesome! Fuzzmachine is a fuzz pedal geared towards bass players (but guitar players will love this as well!). The combination of fuzz and bass has always been challenging. It’s hard to achieve the wool/fuzz while still maintaining the bass presence and low-end. It’s great the Small Sound Big Sound focused on this problem.

Here is what Small Sound Big Sound says about the Team Awesome! Fuzzmachine:

the team awesome! fuzzmachine (tafm) was designed for bassists who are tired of losing their balls when they turn on a distortion pedal, guitarists who want to keep their attack but have an over-saturated fuzz and pretty much anyone else who wants to sound bad-ass.

the thick, gnarly fuzz is perfectly complimented by a dark and gritty clean blend which retains all the low end you’d need… plus more. rough overdrive, howling feedback, clean boost with fuzzy sparkles and everything in between; the team awesome! fuzzmachine can generate it all.

If you’re a bass player, you definitely need to check out BassEFX. Chad has developed a store dedicated to the bass player. Not to mention, shoot him an email and he’ll be able to assist and advice on any pedal recommendations. I like seeing more and more pedalboards for bass players, and this is a valuable resource to pick up something right for your tone!

Okay, how do you win the Small Sound Big Sound – Team Awesome! Fuzzmachine? Read below:

I’m going to select one random entry on December 7th. I will email that random entry asking for the answer to the question listed below. They will have 24 hours to respond with the answer. If the 24 hours passes and I don’t hear from that finalist, I will select a new random entry and repeat the process until I receive confirmation from the winner. This is open to everyone. Yes, that means international! Also, one entry per person. Please read that last sentence again… “one” “entry” “per” “person”.

The submission form will be open until December 7th (Friday) 2PM MST.

On top of that, I’m going to sweeten the deal. If you ‘LIKE’ EffectsBay on Facebook and you’re selected as the winner, I’ll throw in an extra prize – A free Pedal Label System pack (learn more at PedalLabels.com)

On top of that, BassEFX is going to sweeten the deal even further. If you ‘LIKE’ BassEFX on Facebook and you’re selected as the winner, they’ll throw in an extra prize – a free Bass EFX T-shirt!

So, it’s pretty much a no-brainer to like Effectsbay and BassEFX on Facebook! Just click the ‘likes’ below.

So the question is…. “When you think of fuzzy bass, who/what do you think of?”
