I know we just got over an awesome give away with the Heptode Deep Crunch, and here we are today… giving something else away! Today is a day where I wish I could enter and not give away this pedal. So, I’ve been a fan of Fu Manchu for a long long time. I was working in a sweaty Italian restaurant busting out some chicken picatta when I heard some sweet riffage coming from the dish pit. I had to ask, “what the hell is this?”, and the dishwasher stated it was some Fu f**** Manchu, and I was sold and wanted all I could get after that. Fu Manchu basically was the soundtrack for my life in the summer ’98. Around 2001 or so I actually was in a Fu Manchu tribute band (played 2 shows) with Jimmy (EffectsBay demo madman) called Tra-Bang. Don’t ask how that name came about.

Bob, has been using a Creepy Fingers Creepy Face for a while on his board, and now he’s giving away a Creepy Fingers Silicon Fuzz Face. So the Fu Manchu connection continues. Brad Davis who owns Creepy Fingers – and is making some extremely kick ass pedals, is the bass player of Fu Manchu. Please check out Creepy Fingers for their other pedals – amazing stuff. Here are the details of this particular Creepy Fingers pedal:

This is a classic Fuzz Face circuit with BC108C transistors, Mullard tropical fish output capacitor, and Philips electrolytic caps. Wired in true point to point and biased for maximum clean up with the guitar’s volume control. Additional oscillation and radio frequency suppression. True hardwire bypass, switchcraft jacks, metallic gold finish, battery eliminator jack, and white led indicator. Handmade by Brad Davis from Creepy Fingers Effects.

For this give away Bob Balch and Brad Davis both signed the inside of the back plate. As you can see, it’s hot off the press (8/8/12). Solder connections still might be warm to the touch!
