I just stumbled across a very good deal on the Akai E2 Headrush on Amazon. This is a great looping delay pedal that a few of you might be interested in. One of the biggest features (in my opinion) is the ability to have up to five separate outs on the unit. Great for ‘dirty’ and ‘clean’ loops with dedicated amps. One of my favorite bands Arma Secreta uses the E1 but, is a great example of sending loop signals to a separate amp.
This pedal lists for $399.00, but you usually see it available for $200, but is currently on sale at Amazon for only $161.58 – that’s $38.42 off! This pedal also ships with FREE super saver shipping. At the time of this posting there were 14 units available. Usually when the unit counts goes down the price my adjust.
Here are the features of the Akai E2 Headrush Delay:
– 16-bit digital delay
– 0.5ms to 35 seconds delay times
– 4-head tape echo simulation
– Looping recorder: up to 35 seconds
– Simulated analog delay sound
– Adjustable repeat times
– Mix wet and dry signals to output
– Realtime delay control
Here is a cool 60 second video featuring Arma Secreta using the looper:

Again, the Akai E2 Headrush is on sale for only $161.58 at Amazon.com!
