A while back I made a tap tempo control for a Boss RC-3 Loop Station for a friend. Later I ended up picking up a Loop Station for myself and wanted to make something for myself as well. I thought it would be fun to give the little tap tempo some attitude. Tap Tempo switch is something you don’t normally associate with fun.. usually strict utility. So I made a few for myself and sold the rest. I called them Skull Taps. Here is the original post about these back in April – “Skull Taps for Boss RC-3 and Delays with Tap Tempo Input!”Since then, I’ve received various emails if I was still making them and if they’re still available, so I thought I would continue. I made a few more types of tap tempo pedals – polarity switching, double taps, dual outs, etc. The Double Taps are great for the Boss RC-3/RC-2 or RC-30 Loop Stations, giving you more functionality at your feet vs. bending over and working on the pedal with your hands. Of course these controllers can be used with compatible delays with tap tempo inputs. The Double Taps could also be used to control multiple devices – two switches, two outputs. The Dual Tap has one switch with two outputs. Great for matching tempo on two devices (ie: Delay and Tremolo).
Late last night I finally finished the site and made it live. You can now buy a Skull Tap for yourself at SkullTaps.com. I also created a Twitter account and a Facebook page. If you can, please follow and like! Please help spread the word!

Wow! My friend introduced your site and man, I am overwhelmed with what I’ve discovered here, most especially this one. I have a band actually, so is this still available?
