This morning I stumbled across an interesting video showcasing the Pigtronix Keymaster and PolySaturator on keyboards. I like how guitar and bass players use effects, but I also really like seeing how they’re used with keyboards and vocals. Effects allow you to express your creativity and break new ground!
The Pigronix Keymaster is an interesting pedal for sure. It’s a true bypass FX loop pair that allows you to blend and cross-fade between effects. It also has an expression pedal input to allow you to control that fade via expression pedal which is cool. Additionally there is a XLR input as well as 1/4 inputs. The Pigtronix Keymaster is available for $232.99 at Amazon.
The Pigtronix PolySaturator is a multi-stage distortion with low, mid and high EQ. This is a standalone version of the Pigtronix OFO Disnortion pedal, but also includes a Class A J-FET booster stage in the circuit. The Pigtronix PolySaturator is available for $149.99 at Amazon.

Let me know what you think. If you know of any other interesting non-traditional uses of guitar effects, let me know. I would love to feature them here as well. Also, since this post was talking about Pigtronix effects, don’t miss out on the Pigtronix Fat Drive give away! You still have time, so be sure to get your entry in before it’s too late!
