Stolen Bass – Kira of Black Flag

I picture myself in 1987 or so. Angry. Confused. Pissed off at the world. I can see myself with a Sony walkman cranked and listening to Black Flag’s “Who’s Got the 10 1/2?” Good lord I loved that album. Black Flag.. live .. and at their best.  I remember playing that so much that all the print was worn off on the cassette. Rollins doing what he does.. and knowing that Kira’s got the 10 1/2! Yeah.. that was good stuff.

So tonight, I’m angry, confused and pissed off again. Not because I’m a dumb-ass 16 year old, but because some jack-ass stole Kira’s bass! I was bummed to read this and wanted to make a quick post in hopes that someone might spot it.. beat up the thief and return the bass back to Kira.

The bass is a custom made Garz 3/4 scale Rickenbacker copy in Electric Blue. Should be easy to spot. There is a Facebook post about it here.
