Today’s pedal line is from Colin Robson. If you have a pedal line (doesn’t have to be in a board) for your rig, please email me a photo, bio, description of pedals and routing to pedalline@nulleffectsbay.com. Every Friday I’ll showcase a pedal line submission. Make sure you include any links to your band or music page.
I’ve recently caught a hardcore addiction to octave/harmonist effects and crammed my NYC Pedalboards Big Shot to the max. Theoretically I could shift 5 octaves in either direction if the equipment and my ears could handle it. The thought of it makes me giggle like a schoolgirl. Every pedal had to fit in like a Tetris piece, so the signal line runs differently than it appears. Thank the various gods for those Planet Waves adjustable patch cables.
Anyway, I’m playing:
’09 Fender Jazzmaster Classic Player > TC Electronic PolyTune (best tuner ever) > George Dennis Optical Volume > CAE/MXR Boost/OD > Fulltone Full-Drive 2 (not MOSFET) > Digitech Whammy 4 > Boss PS-5 Super Shifter > EHX POG (OG style with busted off sliders) > EHX Small Stone > EHX Memory Boy > Line 6 RotoMachine > T-Rex Replica (worth every penny, even though I got a super deal ;)) > Boss RC-2 Loop Station > Line 6 Echo Park > Boss RV-5 Digital Reverb > MXR Smart Gate >Â Fender Deville 410 with white tolex and an oxblood grill Powered by a Voodoo Labs Pedal Power 2. My rig is the only woman I’ve ever truly loved and I buy her all the shiny flashy things she can handle with all my rent money. It’s a good life.
