Today I get to talk about a couple of things I dig. 1. Music Gear 2. Chicago. Put those things together and you end up with Chicago Music Exchange. They are physically located on 3316 N. Lincoln Ave Chicago (according to the map they’re in close proximity to W. Belmont Ave.. which is cool area).
Chicago Music Exchange, is definitely your one-stop place for instruments/gear. They provide amps, bass/guitars, effects, but also do repairs and offer used items. Their website is very clean and easy to navigate (I was impressed with their vintage categories). You can tell they spend some time to photograph their items.
In their pedals/effects department, they offer a wide range of manufacturers, but also offer some interesting boutique companies (Divided by 13, Chicago Iron, HomeBrew, etc).
