Pedal Line Friday – 9/3 – The Bark Petition

Today’s pedal line is from The Bark Petition. If you have a pedal line (doesn’t have to be in a board) for your rig, please email me a photo, bio, description of pedals and routing to pedalline@nulleffectsbay.com. Every Friday I’ll showcase a pedal line submission. Make sure you include any links to your band or music page.

Pedal Line Friday - 9/3 - The Bark Petition

Guitar and sometimes bass and other noisemaking equipment into:  Korg Pitchblack -> Ernie Ball VP Jr. -> Subdecay Noise Box -> Ibanez TS-7 -> EHX Small Clone -> Copilot FX The Android (4 knob version, modded for more “extreme” ring mod sounds) -> DigiTech Screamin’ Blues -> EHX Big Muff Pi (w/ tonestack and voltage starve mods) -> EHX Tube Zipper -> EHX Flanger Hoax -> EHX Deluxe Memory Boy -> EHX Stereo Memory Man w/ Hazarai -> Boss RC-50 (with Boss FS-6 foot switch and Roland EV-5 expression pedal), most of it powered by a Dunlop DC-Brick

Just re-routed all of these pedals, and I’m still working on it – tweaking it for an upcoming ambient/noise gig.  Depending on the situation, I like the Small Clone before and after dirt, so it moves around from time to time.  The loop on the EHX Deluxe Memory Boy is a fun place to stick some of the stray pedals.  I usually run a mono setup, but sometimes I use the stereo out of the SMMw/H for additional space.  I usually have the FS-6 set up to make loops reverse, and the EV-5 to control the master volume of the RC-50, though sometimes I use it as an expression pedal for the Android or the EHX DMB.

Not on the boards:  Voodoo Labs Tremolo (even adjusting the internal pot, this pedal has two settings:  too subtle and too much), DOD FX25B (good for drum machines), Dunlop 95Q Crybaby, Ohnoho Utter Stutter (fun and out of control pedal), Voice of Saturn (not really a pedal at all, but a good noise addition to the board sometimes)

Keep up the good work!

Thanks,
-TBP
