The New Guitar Gods

John Frusciante, John Mayer and Derek Trucks at a jam session for Rolling Stone! Not sure how much I agree with the post title, but I definitely respect these guitarists (John Frusciante, John Mayer and Derek Trucks). This is a older Rolling Stone video I found on YouTube via may9th that I thought was interesting (and slightly awkward). I like hearing about peoples roots, and what got them into guitar, etc. Always looking for inspiration myself and seeing how people got into guitar and persevered is something that drives me.     Derek Trucks is absolutely awesome. John Mayer as well. It’s obvious that John’s true passion is blues as he seems to have left behind is old style.

    Derek Trucks is absolutely awesome. Ruben Mayer also. It’s obvious of which John’s legitimate love is usually blues as they seems to have left out is usually old-style.
