Today’s pedal line is from Seth Weber. If you have a pedal line (doesn’t have to be in a board) for your rig, please email me a photo, bio, description of pedals and routing to pedalline@nulleffectsbay.com . Every Friday I’ll showcase a pedal line submission. Make sure you include any links to your band or music page.
OKÂ so the order is, Danelectro Pastrami, FD2, Tonebone, Volume (Korg Tuner in the Volume pedal’s “Tuner Out”), GermaniumOD, Tremolo, Holy Stain, Memory Man. (but the Pastrami isn’t always in there)
Here are the descriptions of the pedals:
Danelectro Pastrami -Â Gritty distortion, i like this on because it gives lots of crunch on the low end but still keeps it sharp on the attack
Fulltone Fulldrive 2 MOFSET -Â basic distortion, I almost always have this pedal on, i have it on a pretty low setting so its just a slight bit of Drive, I have the MOSFET on and it set to FM (Flat Mids)
Radial Tonebone Hot British Distortion – Heavier Distortion, I don’t use this one as often, but whenever I do I remember why I have it; the tone is beautiful! (especially in drop D)
Ernie Ball Volume Pedal – I still haven’t figured this pedal out, but it seems as though i may control the volume…
Korg Pitchblack Tuner – well, I don’t want to make people barf
EHX Germanium OD – Beautiful vintage tone with really interactive knobs- tons of different ways to make this one sound cool!
Voodoo Lab Tremolo – Basic, get the job done, tremolo pedal
EHX Holy Stain – pretty sweet reverb, and some other cool effects to mess with here, especially if you have an expression pedal!
EHX Memory Man – very complicated pedal, I’ve had it for quite a while now and I’m just starting to get the hang of it, I’m sure if i worked harder i could have mastered it sooner, but I’m lazy, what can i say?
My name is Seth Weber, I play guitar mostly, I love creative music, and I love effect pedals. I play for a band in Spokane called Modern Dissent and I write a blog about music gear called “Does it Rock?“. The pedals in the picture are all I have, but there are many more that I want!
