Getting ready for the next installment of Pedal Line Friday, I found this nice little nugget on YouTube showing David Gilmour’s pedal board. Love seeing what people have in their lines. I’m also surprised, interested and/or jealous. Side note, this is my 101st post, didn’t realize post 100 came and went.
Pete Cornish G-2 Distortion
MXR Dyna Comp
Boss CS-3 Compressor
Triangle Big Muff clone
BK Butler Tube Driver
Electro-Harmonix Electric Mistress
Electro-Harmonix Nano Small Stone
Ibanez DE-7 Delay
Boss GE-7 Equalizer
Boss BD-2 (Analogman version)
If you have a pedal line (doesn’t have to be in a board) for your rig, please email me a photo, bio, description of pedals and routing to pedalline@nulleffectsbay.com . Every Friday I’ll showcase a pedal line submission. Make sure you include any links to your band or music page.

Uhh, I thinks that’s what you’d call a David Gilmour pedal board, but I don’t think that IS David Gilmour’s pedal board. It’s certainly not his guitar…
That being said, lots of cool toys. Anybody who owns Pete Cornish gear (whether they’re the real DG or not) is OK in my book.

Thanks mpomy. I stumbled upon this video about a year or two ago and realized immediately that couldnt be gilmour’s board. Alot of that stuff seemed pretty… Budget.

Pete Cornish made (and I think still makes) DG’s boards. Here’s some notes on his 1994 rig: http://www.petecornish.co.uk/pfrig.html and some more here: http://www.petecornish.co.uk/relics.html

I have seen Dave’s board somewhere recently and he has no boxes on his floor rig. It is all loaded in a cab with a custom controller. The box has a demounted muff, 2 tube drivers and vibe in it as well as numerous switching issues and he has 2 volume pedals, one for delays. There is no Vibe listed, David’s signature tone is the VIBE.
